I HEARD BERLIN --------------------- I heard Berlin, I heard a cry I heard people, young and old I smelled the pain in the air, although it was wet and cold. I heard Berlin, I took it on the chin, to see what people had seen, but then, I was not so keen, to remember Berlin. I saw Berlin, Full of pride, full of might, but why so uptight? I saw it fell, this time no fight I saw it lost its heart, lost its sight lost humanity, with no human rights. I heard a cry, I went to see, wondering who it was was it him, was it her,... or was it me? Even though I was warm and dry, I heard my heart cry, and I heard humanity saying 'Bye' I wondered, ... will it die? asking my self, why? I asked the people, I asked Berlin, Where have you been have you seen, what the world has seen? I asked Berlin, why so mean, why so mean? A.H.L.Irani (Ahli) October 2012
